A legal tech startup founded by contract lawyers set out to develop a web-based platform that would help junior legal professionals create contracts quickly and efficiently using generative AI. They needed a technology partner to manage web app development, AI integration and complex workflow design, all while ensuring a smooth user experience.
We began by building a prototype back-end for the app’s generative AI component, including experimentation and reasoning chain setup for the large language model. We also designed the app architecture, including servers and databases.
Next, we developed a front-end user interface with intuitive workflows for different user types and integrated it with the AI back end. This created a fully functional web app featuring a multi-tenant configuration, CMS, browser-based text editor and multiple external integrations.
In the current phase, we are continuing to enhance the app, adding targeted AI editing features, complex question-and-answer structures, improved DevOps and ongoing UI refinements.
Outcome
The app is live and successfully supporting client demos and early-stage fundraising with venture capital firms.
